Using the Raspberry Pi to measure reactive power - Raspberry Pi Forums
hi,
use raspberry pi measure reactive power consumed household appliances. able measure rms current , voltage using adc , therefore calculating active power. know if possible measure reactive power. if so, how can go doing it?

you need sample both current , voltage fast possible, , calculate phase-angle between them.
figure out how many microseconds there between peak of current , peak of voltage. there’s 46.3 µs per degree of phase shift.
