Not getting timely SOAP response for password protected documents
hello,
working on web services client sends document via soap adobe elements server. if there kind of problem conversion, present user whatever message ae sends application. while testing various error conditions, tried sending ae password protected word document. expected, program displays message ae saying can't convert password protected files. however, works if terminal service ae server , sit there watching it. if session disconnected (but still running), program never gets message ae saying doc password protected. instead, sits there until guet "the conversion process time has been exceeded. application might not responding or system has halted.. blah blah". ae server's timeout set 3 minutes , our users not patient. know how can normal 20 second response there problem without sitting there watching conversion happen?
basically, can application display "can't convert readonly docs" message switch ae server , wiggle mouse. has else seen this?
thanks,
