please explaing host, hostname - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi all.
having trouble understanding hots , hostnames
why? because happening me .
pi has static ip.
have setup in pi transmission , seafile.
have made domains name each application.
transpi.noip.xxx
seapi.noip.xxx
outside network can access services, local network corresponding port , works whit no problems.
if try access in local network whit there corresponding domain name cant not in.
if try domains outside local network have no problem.
can 1 explain , understand new please patient.
