dear all,
i'm going crazy raspberry issue.
i'm using raspberry pi 2 raspibian surveillance headless pc, keeps running python script every 10 minutes takes photo of house, uploads on google drive , send me pushover notification. moreover, there pir sensor attached detect people , shot if movement detected. that's all.
connected router sitecom wifi dongle.
during week works charm, in weekend (just when leave home alone), after hours (lets 19/20 hours) stops responding, don't receive notifications more, i'm not able connect via ssh (remotely trugh ddns service) more, not respond ping more (i try ping arduino yun access remotely via ddns well).
when home, find leds on, led on wifi dongle flashing, apparently nothing wrong, way working again unplug , re plug power.

thought power issue, bought 5v/2a power supply, again in weekend (usually saturday morning) raspberry pi stops working way.
searching around web similar issue, found people had troubles wifi dongle or goes in sort of "sleep mode" due power management, or disconnects router after time of inactivity (which should not case since every 10min raspberry should upload stuff google drive). wifi dongle works r8712u module, checked power management setting

cat /sys/module/r8712u/parameters/power_mgnt
returns 0.
fixing possible issue wlan0 disconnecting router, implemented solution founded here https://samhobbs.co.uk/2013/11/fix-for- ... spberry-pi, works because if issue ifdown, after period setted in crontab rpi again.

after checks , lets "patches", strange behaviour during weekend keeps coming up.

can guys please me in find solution?

can provide logs , whatever want.

i suggest try weekend rpi connected router ethernet cable. yes, pictures camera may not view want aim determine if issue caused wi-fi or not.
