Adding Packages and PI Does Not Boot.. - Raspberry Pi Forums

i seeing issue pi, hoping there solution. built fresh jessie image pi. boots up, , make initial adjustments, lcd_rotate=2, (i using raspberry display), , wifi password.

proceed preferences , using add , remove software function, select few games , utilities, etc. reboot pi.

problem comes up. pi reboots point, screen clears , continuously cycles between screen flash, , text caret/cursor in top left corner. unit never boots gui.

have restore fresh jessie image, , start on again.

wondering, there software repository packages have been tested , verified on raspberry pi jessie?
if answer yes, how can modify proper files point @ repository?

did include ensuring root filesystem expanded fill usdhc card? size of usdhc card using?
