hello everyone,

running ubuntu pi , installed java. noticed there update java windows , suspect need update pi machine. how this?

downloaded java se development kit 1.8.65 , think had java in , installed here. hoping install easier place.

on java site there place

can find linux version
http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/ ... eid=114679

, instructions unpack tarball , install. guess not sure how uninstall previous version if need do.
