upgrade ubuntu 9.04 on desktop system, press alt+f2 , type
in update-manager -d terminal update manager should open , tell you: new distribution release '9.10' is
available. click upgrade , follow on-screen instructions.

** 9.04 host virtualbox , if there slightest chance upgrade effect file in anyway need know , install 9.10 free standing elsewhere on hd.

since virtualbox loads kernel drivers, there slight chance. ive not heard of problems shouldnt bet life or job on

edit: see mention "file". no, not alter vb images in way, there small chance of virtualbox such no longer working
