Print to PDF - Have to enter file name twice?

hello,

choosing adobe pdf 9 in printer settings. menu asking file name, enter it, hit save. new menu pops up, asks file name again, doesn't recall name entered. new dialog box adds title/author/subject/keywords fields. if enter name save. need twice???

also, though set author name in pref settings in acrobat pro, author in dialog keeps coming login name, not name chose "author."

anyone else ran this? i'm on intel quad xeon, os 10.5.6
