i have eeepc 701sd, wireless connected fine networks in 9.04 (including wep shared key network @ home). wireless card supported out of box r8180 driver. use normal ubuntu desktop, not unr edition. lshw: code: rtl8187se wireless lan controller however, clean 9.10 reinstall, cannot connect wep shared key network (this occured when testing beta, didnt think of , went 9.04). eeepc can connect other networks , @ university , friends place (both wpa2), issue wep shared key network. not connecting, mean put in key, set network configurations shared key, however, times out , asks key again (right after kernel problem message, see below). have desktop running 9.10 , can connect wep shared key network no issues, , there no issues when running 9.04 either. thus, come conclusion related change must have occured 9.04 9.10 r8180 driver eeepc. insight? ps: aware of bug announced in release notes (i have different card, same issue). experience kernel cras

i don't want nuisance blow board it's worth double checking community. i have multiple programs present in flash memory , give user option of program run, signalling intent chip maybe shorting 2 pins or tying 1 5v or that.  simple , robust.  since there many i/o pins on arduino figure gives option of running dozens of programs coming different permutations of setting pins high or low.  trouble is, don't want blow board.  other trouble i've noticed pins have floating voltage on them if they're not connected don't want floating voltage accidentally select program unless user sets pin high or low. what's safest , simplest way give arduino unique input tell run different program using nothing more single wire? i don't think can have multiple programs loaded @ once, write 1 program did different things depending on status of input pin. you can avoid "floating input" problem use of internal or external pullup resistor,

hallo, bei der beschreibung des atmega2560 ist mir gerade folgendess ins auge gestochen: quote ioref. pin on arduino board provides voltage reference microcontroller operates. configured shield can read ioref pin voltage , select appropriate power source or enable voltage translators on outputs working 5v or 3.3v. ich kenn den ioref nur in verbindung mit den analogeingängen. aber wenn ich das lese, dann sieht es doch aus, als ob man bei einem mit 5v versorgten arduino, die ausgänge definieren kann, dass sie bei high-pegel 3,3v ausgeben? sehe ich das richtig? würde des öfteren die levelshifter sparen.... nein, das ist nicht richtig. der ioref pin wurde irgendwann mit rev3(!?) eingeführt. hintergrund ist, dass die meisten shields auch mit dem 0 und due funktionieren sollen. ioref entspricht dem vcc des mcus. auf uno/mega 5v, auf due/zero 3v3. gäbe es einen uno mit 8mhz quarz/resonator/.. dann wäre der ioref ebenfalls < 5v. p.s.: levelshifter versuche ich

sono all'ultimo anno di itis indirizzo meccatronica e ho deciso di portare come progetto d'esame un sistema di cronometraggio che fa uso di fotocellule e di moduli radio nrf2401. voglio creare un sistema che sia capace di misurare il tempo per un percorso di circa 60 metri ed in cui passerà un individuo per volta.le mie domande sono:come faccio far comunicare moduli radio con l'arduino principale?ed inoltre devo usare per forza un arduino per ogni modulo? quanto tempo di ritardo del segnale si avrà contando che sono 60 metri di distanza? il tempo verrà visualizzato in un display che collocherò nel palo dove inserirò la fotocellula. premetto che sono alle prime armi con arduino ma sto provvedendo documentarmi sia da internet che leggendo libri i moduli wireless che hai citato non sono intelligenti, ogni modulo necessita di un micro-controllore che gli dica quali dati inviare e gestisca dati ricevuti. perchè la scelta è ricaduta su questi moduli

hello, i have servo tower pro mg995, when connect circuit powered 5v , 3a, rotate in 1 direction , hesitates lot in other direction , move slow , wont finish turn, normallly on other direction. when power servo using 5v arduino board works fine.. noticed when connect arduno board current goes through multimeter measure current have same problme.. of make sense you? im using simple sweep example testing. when you're powering servo external power source make sure have gnd connection between power source , arduino. both power sources need agree on 0v or voltage on servo signal wire won't make sense , servo's behavior erratic. bonjour, pour l'un de mes projet j'aurais besoin de réaliser des cartes relais et de les contrôler en utilisant le moins de pin possible sur un arduino uno (ou autre). en tout je dois avoir 32 relais double 5v mais décomposer en plusieurs cartes de 8 relais, donc 4 cartes de 8 relais. pour réaliser cela, je pensais créer un "bus de donnée" ou toutes mes petites carte seraient connecté dessus et avec un adressage des cartes pour pouvoir choisir qu'elle carte est concerné par les informations du bus. chaque carte relais disposera d'une entrée "bus" et d'une sortie "bus", l'alimentation des cartes sera indépendante pour ne pas trop en demandé à la carte arduino. ce qui me gène dans cette réalisation et l'adressage des cartes... comment faire? qu'elle composant utiliser pour utiliser le moins de sortie de l'arduino possible? je pense que j'aurais déjà besoin d'utiliser 8 sorties pour indiquer l'état de

i trying run ultrasonic sensor , servo raspberry pi. have pi plugged in , servo running separate power supply. using servoblaster manipulate servo , manually taking readings ultrasonic sensor. when reboot system can run either of units separately without issue. when try run them in tandem, couple of readings ultrasonic sensor stop taking readings. afterwards, if try run ultrasonic sensor itself, take few readings stop. servo, however, run fine afterwards. have idea why happen? appreciated. edit: have realized pi not allow multiple pwm signals out of box. suggestions on best way overcome issue? raspberrypi

hello, have trouble code. code plant watering system. work having pots 1 plant in each, in each pot there humidity sensor. idea can decide how water each plant needs , arduino water when needed. you change settings on small standard lcd(16x2) using 3 buttons: *nastaplanta-means next plant. simple counter going 0 3 , 3 directly 0. with    decide plant's setting appear on screen. *mervatten-means more water. array myplanta keeps track of plant's settings. happens when press button. myplanta[plantcounter]++. goes 0 10. *mindrevatten-means less water. above decreases myplanta[plantcounter]. now on problem. when code runs , press nastaplanta button, works fine (you can increase , decrease water setting in array myplanta[]) untill plantcounter becomes 3. reason, myplanta[plantcounter] when plantcounter==3, myplanta[3]=3. tag liebe community! ich wollte über mein raspberry sounds über die tastatur abspielen und dann dies weiter meinen "haupt-pc" senden. der sound vom rapsberry wird auch meinen pc übertragen, es klappt alles. nur das abspielen auf tastatur behfel hab ich noch nicht ganz hinbekommen. eigentlich ist dies sehr einfach(denk ich mal) aber da ich neu in der raspberry pi umgebung bin wollt ich mal euch fragen wie ihr das ausführen würdet. zerbrach mir schohn über das wochenden den kopf... habt ihr ideen? ein programm für dies zweck gibt es nicht, oder? muss es wohl über ein eigenes kleines programm ausführen lassen oder über das terminal. servus, wie aufwendig soll's den sein, bzw wie fit bist du im programmieren? ich hätte mir einen kleinen service gebastelt und die tasten <> soundfile zuweisung in ein .conf file gepackt. der aufwand dafür ist nicht mal groß. c++ grundkenntnisse reichen, da es header für die service geschichte fast fertig im internet gibt.
