hello, i've been trying netbook remix of 9.10 few days now. have been customizing netbook remix launcher. trying figure out how change items in "files & folders" area. figured out items can changed changing bookmarks in nautilus. know how rid of desktop folder , downloads folder. show though aren't bookmarked. understand desktop folder may required gnome, hoping @ least hide remix launcher since netbook remix doesn't have "desktop". don't understand why downloads folder showing when no longer bookmarked. launcher starts in favorites? want rearrange favorites section, seems way can removing items , re-adding them, cannot find launcher can add after rearranging favorites section. 1 last thing. think heard compiz doesn't work netbook remix. mean there not alternatives window switching alt+tab default on netbook remix? thanks. for help, should able go system > prefer

hey everyone. created custom .wav sounds use login, logoff, trash, etc. applied them through system--->preferences--->sound---->sound tab when restarted computer none of them took. went in , checked , still set custom .wav file. doing wrong?? has else had problem? not big deal have spent while making these sound waves use. i have same problem on jaunty. took me number of tries make jaunty not automatically reset sounds default. now, although sounds point custom .wav files, nothing plays on logon, logout, clearing trash etc. kind of annoying when you're unable customise simple aspect of ubuntu , not work. nakama85, try this method , see if works you. did not work me, people have had success using method. hello, i had built word clock girlfriend christmas present. has been on couple weeks, noticing wear of leds not uniform. of course expect uneven wear on time, after 3 weeks think should not able see difference. here imgur album of clock in question (with pictures of circuit too): http://imgur.com/a/odoxl the phrase @ top "klukkan er" (the time is) half bright other words. word "minutur" on time, off 10 minutes of every hour. all words connected shift registers , transistor arrays, don't turn on when clock plugged in. however, "klukkan er" tried directly 5v , gnd (with 220ohm resistor attached each led). have couple of decoupling capacitors on board power comes in, hoping prevent such thing. have damaged these leds since connected directly power supply? does have idea why might happening? there missing? possibly more information can provide with? well, have 1 resistor per led can't think of reason there being problem..

nach eeibau einer neuen festplatte in mein laptop läßt sich photoshop cs2 nicht mehr aktualisieren,wegen überschreitung der zulässigen anzahl. auch die telefonische aktivierung funktioniert nicht, da beim 7 zahlenblock der aktivierungsnummer die meldung kommt,zuwenig zahlen angegeben. wie oft kann man ps eigentlich aktivieren? achim förster konnte das problem lösen. wenn folgende arbeiten ausgeführt werden: neues betriebssystem,photoshop neu instalieren oder eine neue festplatte aufgesetzt wird, muß zuvor im programm unter hilfe -aktivierung übertragen- angeklickt werden, ansonsten lssen sich photoshop, illustrator (vermutlich alle cs2 programme) nicht aktivieren. dies geht dann nur noch über den support. achim More discussions in Deutsche Foren adobe
